Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This is a plain-language starting policy. Before you rely on it publicly, have it reviewed by a data-protection professional and confirm every detail matches how Signefora actually operates.

Signefora ("we", "us") provides identity, reputation, and record-keeping infrastructure for autonomous software agents. This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is Kofi Appiah (Signefora), Kiel, Germany. Contact: hello@signefora.com. Full details are in our Impressum.

What we process

Why, and on what legal basis

We process account and usage data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f)), and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where data is stored

Data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt). Where a provider processes data on our behalf, we use appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, security, and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise it. The tamper-evident transparency log is append-only by design; we minimise personal data written to it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your personal data, object to certain processing, and request portability. To exercise these rights, email hello@signefora.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Cookies

The site uses only essential, functional browser storage (for example, keeping you signed in to the console on your device). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
