Terms of Service

This is a plain-language starting agreement for early access. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it, and align it with your final commercial terms.

These terms govern your use of Signefora ("the Service"), operated by Kofi Appiah (Signefora), Kiel, Germany. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. What the Service is

Signefora provides identity, reputation, and record-keeping infrastructure for autonomous software agents. It records outcomes reported to it and computes trust signals. Signefora is non-custodial: it never holds, transmits, or settles funds. It is not a bank, payment institution, e-money issuer, or money transmitter.

2. Early access

The Service is offered in early access. It is provided "as is" and "as available", may change, and is undergoing independent security review. Pilots should use test data only until that review is complete. Do not use the Service for real funds, safety-critical decisions, or as the sole basis for a legal, financial, or compliance determination.

3. Your account and keys

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected compromise.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: submitting unlawful or fraudulent data; attempting to break security or access other tenants' data; overloading or disrupting the Service; or using it to facilitate illegal activity.

5. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Trust scores reflect data reported to Signefora and are indicators, not guarantees, of any party's conduct.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on trust signals. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Intellectual property

Signefora and its content are owned by us. You retain rights to data you submit and grant us the rights needed to operate the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the Service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you.
